Integrated Model of Care for Diabetic Retinopathy within the Health System of Bangladesh

November 27, 2019

The Integrated Model of Care for Diabetic Retinopathy Within the Health System of Bangladesh — a project implemented by The Fred Hollows Foundation, seeks to support the development and assessment of an integrated and comprehensive model of care for people at risk of vision loss due to diabetes-related eye disease in 4 districts in Bangladesh. The overall goal of the project is to avoid blindness in people at risk of vision loss due to diabetes, by strengthening the health system.

The project ran for 3 years from July 2015 until June 2018 with an additional project period added until December 2018 to conduct final project report and evaluation.
